Who We Are

It was started by Thomas Kincaid in 1985, who ran it successfully for many years. In 2003 his brother, Bill, bought the business while Tom went on to pursue other career options (he now owns a mechanical shop). Kincaid Auto has a large repeat client base, due to our excellent service and honest and friendly approach to customer relations. After all, many of our customers are lifelong friends and/or fellow residents. And we have them to thank for our success over the years, since we rely almost entirely on word of mouth for advertisement!

After spending 24 years in our original location downtown, our demand had outgrown our modest shop, so in 2009 we built a new building to accommodate our needs. You can now find us on South Street, still right here in Milford. Rest assured you can expect the same quality service you've always received from us, but now we're more efficient than ever (plus, you don't have to worry about getting into an accident just trying to squeeze into our parking lot)! We are grateful to be part of such a supportive community, and try to give back whenever possible. Don't hesitate to drop by or give us a call anytime!

About the Owner

Bill Kincaid was born and raised right here in Milford, NH. He began learning the trade of auto repair from his father (who did it as a pastime) at age 14. At age 17, he started his first repair job at C&C Auto Services. Upon graduating high school, Bill turned his and his father's shared hobby into a career, earning an associate's degree in auto repair. He continued working at local shops until 1985, when his brother Tom started Kincaid Auto. Bill worked with his brother for 10 years before pursuing his own career. Meanwhile, he joined the Milford volunteer fire department at age 25. In 2002, Bill returned to Kincaid Auto with many years of valuable industry experience and bought the business from his brother. Since then, he has both expanded the business and steadily advanced in rank at the fire department. He is now a Deputy Fire Cheif on the fire department, and the owner of a brand new shop on South Street, where Kincaid Auto moved in 2009. When he's not fixing cars or fighting fires, Bill spends time with his wife, Jodi, and six children, and with his close circle of friends.
